That’s why we rely on smart, compact machinery like the 5T Diesel/Electric Mini Tracked Crawler Crane to help us get the job done—safely and efficiently.
This machine might be small in size, but it packs serious lifting power. The 5T Mini Tracked Crawler Crane offers an optimum working range of 10 metres vertical lift at 1 tonne. Built for tight spaces, it measures just 4955mm long, 1400mm wide, and 1980mm high before setup—making it ideal for jobs where larger cranes simply won’t fit.
Its diesel/electric hybrid power system gives us the flexibility to work both indoors and out, while keeping emissions low and efficiency high.
What makes this crane a key part of our toolkit? It’s the perfect blend of size, strength, and adaptability. The tracks give it solid ground control on rough, sloping or uneven terrain, and it’s nimble enough to move easily around buildings or through narrow bush tracks.
When working on projects like the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, Cathedral Cove, or Te Awa River Ride, access can be half the challenge. Helicopters and planning take care of the big stuff—but once we’re on the ground, we need equipment that can move, lift and position materials with precision and reliability. That’s where the crawler crane comes in.
